Printing day is always exciting. Exciting because it can go wrong, and sometimes it does. The big prints, for the blankets, are printed at het Grafisch Atelier in The Hague. A superb place, where they have screens big enough for the designs of the blankets. I love the whole process of silkscreen printing, but it takes a lot of work before you can actually print something. Honestly, I don’t like the whole process before. I like to design the pattern off course, but I don’t like getting the screen ready. It takes a lot of patience and waiting time, and that is not my forte. 😉
But I want to show you a little bit of me working, and the whole process here, so that you can understand what it takes to make a blanket, or burb cloth, etc.
